The Connecticut Sun is an Eastern Conference WNBA team that has called Mohegan Sun Arena home for over 20 years! With a past and current roster featuring Olympians and all-stars, the talent of these athletes is top tier and not something to be missed.
In 2003 the Mohegan Indian tribe purchased and relocated the team to Mohegan Sun, becoming the first Native American tribe to own a professional sports franchise. The team’s name comes from its affiliation with Mohegan Sun and its logo is reflective of a modern interpretation of an ancient Mohegan symbol.
